A theme of my work lately has been getting at realism through abstraction. I could paint or sculpt something about my relationships, but I don’t think anything I make would show it better in my 23rd year on this earth than this stack of 23 letters. 23 moments of people (who know me more than most) thinking about me and writing to tell me about it.
