Conner B. Delgado is a conceptually based multi-disciplinary artist, writer, and curator based in Omaha, NE. He examines, documents, cherishes, and challenges. He was the first person of color to be curator for Open Gallery in Nashville, TN. Nashville’s second oldest artist-run contemporary art space. He received his BFA in Studio Art from Lipscomb University. He eats toast with peanut butter almost every day for breakfast.
In previous works, he’s made a scale 1/1 scale replica of his childhood bedroom ceiling, collected valentines, dirt from every state he’s been kissed in, and made a candle from the leftover wax of every candle he burned in a year. He documents the spectacular things that happen every day. He makes things and people sacred.
Recent exhibitions include the international art event Walk On By (2021), Tender With The Other and Poetics of Materiality at Wavelength Space in Chattanooga, TN (2022) and others.
Delgado and his work have been featured in The Nashville Scene, Number Magazine, Locate Arts, and The Omaha World Herald
